Our Life in Guam

Our families are similar because we come from the same island and are better known as Guamanians. Guam is
approximately 30 miles long and 4-10 miles in width. Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean we are surrounded by
many Islands known as The Northern Marianas, the chain of 15 Islands. GUAM, being the Mother Island, is the first stop to
your island destination. Our languages consists of English as the 1st and, "CHAMORRO" is the ISLAND WAY! The most common
Islands to visit are SAIPAN, ROTA AND TINIAN. Unique cultures and experiences will take your breath away. Sandy
beaches, perfect weather and lots of fiestas. Sounds fun already!!
Paul and I come from the same village(city/town) which is Leyang, Barrigada. My parents are Joseph and Teresita,
siblings are Linda, Josephine and Joseph Jr.. Paul's parents are Pedro and Rita, siblings Ralph, James, Shawn and
Peter. Lots of things to do and relatives to visit but, the economy with it's small government is struggling to
make it a better place. Although the Island is pleasurable and we miss it so much the opportunities here in the
U.S. we calling out, and that is why we are here now in Boise, Idaho.

Our momentos....
Being together for 9 1/2 years now, and married on May 12, 2004 has been an adventure. Having the best of both worlds at
our hands. We met in Guam and struggled in life to be where we are today. Understanding eachother and growing together is
the best experience anyone could have. Up to this day we are still learning and that I think is the most memorable feeling
that we take along this journey.
